Nicole àBeckett

Nicole àBeckett is the co-founder of SameSide, a platform making grassroots political action more accessible to more people. Nicole founded SameSide in March 2017 with her brother David. Having heard one too many times from friends, “I want to do more to get involved but I don’t know how,” Nicole knew there had to be a better way to bring people together for action on issues that matter. SameSide meets people where they’re at to inspire participation so that more voices are heard, respected and involved in policy making.  

Nicole is a native of Los Angeles and previously served as a Senior Director of Economic & Business Policy for L.A. Mayors Antonio Villaraigosa and Eric Garcetti. Prior to her post in the Mayor’s Office, she drove strategy and operations for myfab.com, a global e-commerce site based in Shanghai, China where she lived and worked for two years. She is a serial entrepreneur and looks forward to the day she can stand in Washington D.C. with her daughter for the inauguration of the first woman President of the United States.
